Terms of Service
Last Updated: May 31, 2026. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website or booking our professional pest control services.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website or booking a service with Xpress Pest Control, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable Australian laws and regulations.
2. Service Bookings and Quotes
All quotes provided via phone, website form, or email are estimates based on initial details provided by you. Final pricing may be adjusted on-site upon inspection by our technician. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen weather or logistical circumstances.
3. Customer Obligations
To ensure safe and effective treatment, you agree to:
- Provide accurate property detail information during booking.
- Ensure our technicians have safe access to all relevant areas of your property.
- Follow pre-treatment and post-treatment safety instructions (such as removing pets, sealing food, and ventilating spaces as advised).
4. Payment and Warranty
Payment is due upon completion of the service, unless prior commercial arrangements are agreed. Service warranties are provided on eligible treatments, and are subject to adherence to recommendations made by our technicians (e.g. hygiene improvements or sealing entry points).
5. Limitation of Liability
Xpress Pest Control will carry out all services with professional care and skill. To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any direct or indirect damage or loss is limited to re-performing the service or providing a refund of the service fee paid.
6. Treatment Preparation and Aftercare
Some pest control treatments require preparation, such as clearing cupboards, moving furniture from skirting boards, securing pets, covering aquariums, or avoiding treated areas until they are dry. We will explain relevant instructions before or during the appointment.
Results can depend on hygiene, moisture control, building access, neighbouring activity, and whether entry points are sealed after treatment. Customers are responsible for following reasonable aftercare recommendations so the treatment has the best chance of long-term success.
7. Cancellations and Access
If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible. Missed appointments, unsafe access, locked gates, or unavailable decision-makers may delay service or require a new booking time. Emergency call-outs are prioritised based on technician availability and risk.
Where a technician arrives and cannot safely complete the agreed work because access is restricted, required preparation was not completed, or site conditions are unsafe, we may recommend an amended treatment plan before proceeding.
8. Service Scope
Pest activity can be affected by neighbouring properties, weather, sanitation, moisture, structural gaps, stored goods, and ongoing food sources. A booking covers the treatment or inspection scope confirmed with you, and any additional pest type, building zone, roof void, subfloor, commercial area, or follow-up program may require a separate quote.
Where we provide prevention advice, it is intended to support treatment results and reduce reinfestation pressure. It does not replace building, plumbing, waste management, or structural repair work that may be required to remove underlying pest attractants.
